This book is an introductory French course for those with little or no background in the language. Whether you are studying French for the first time or have studied it in the past but need to brush up on it, this is the course for you.
This course has been designed in the form of a story. The name of the story is The French Connection.
I began work on The French Connection in early 2005. I was a fresher in Learno then. From the very beginning I was asked to try out something different for the French course. Fortunately, I was given a free hand to experiment and I created a love story with the main characters belonging to different backgrounds – a story which would create a sense of suspense and appeal to the young at heart. Remembering that the main purpose of the course is to teach French, I had to keep in mind the need for simple dialogues and situations. I wanted my readers to use what they learn from this course in real life while communicating in French
